I am an attorney and licensed customs broker who advises U.S. and multinational companies on business processes and transactions to ensure regulatory compliance with U.S. customs and international trade matters. As a Director at PwC, I assist clients to minimize indirect tax exposure and identify cost savings opportunities in connection with the cross-border movement of goods. 

I collaborate with my PwC colleagues focused on global tax, supply chain, and business operations to design and implement harmonized solutions for my clients. I have significant experience supporting companies with customs related party pricing, first sale, foreign trade zones, duty drawback, special trade/free trade programs, M&A due diligence, compliance reviews, classification, and value chain transformations.

Prior to joining PwC, I served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. Court of International Trade, where I conducted customs and international trade research and drafted opinions.

I received my J.D. from University of Wisconsin-Law School (go Badgers!) and my LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Ms. Jacobs is an international trade compliance professional with experience in import and export compliance. Alison utilizes her skills and experience in trade data analytics and legal research to identify potential cost saving initiatives for her clients, such as first sale for export, Foreign-Trade Zone implementation, and free trade agreement eligibility.

Dave Kuehnel

Dave’s farming experience started early on his family’s diversified farm operation in eastern Wisconsin. Growing up in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic family prepared Dave for working across many different cultures and formed the foundation for appreciating cultural differences and wanting to improve lives by helping to produce more and better food for people around the world.

Following graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Meat and Animal Science, he continued to fuel his calling and has made dairy and young animal nutrition and management his career for 40 years. Leveraging his love for opening doors and opening minds, Dave successfully grew the young animal nutrition business for a Fortune 200 company before launching his own international business development consulting company in 2019.

Dave has proven himself to be a high-energy, demonstrated leader, engaging public speaker, and effective organizational manager with proven international business development skills. With his strong leadership and technical dairy experience (on-farm and production plant), he now helps organizations to:

• Inspire and assist livestock owners to achieve their greatest potential,
• Reduce costs or resources needed, and
